marketing and sports management with a minor in exercise science? Have you done this or do you know of anyone who has? I have an appointment to talk to my advisor in about a week but until then i was just wondering if you think this is possible.

It seems reasonable and actually looks like a smart blend. Thinking of the types of courses that you'd have for each major, it would give you added flexibility for a greater variety of job prospects. I think it sounds like a good idea if you have interests in both areas. Possibly it might take an extra semester or a couple summer sessions depending on how far you are with your studies and how heavy a course load you can manage effectively.

Your advisor should be able to help figure out the logistics. If he or she is in the marketing dept. you might also try to arrange a meeting with an advisor in the sports management area to have both opinions. The minor is generally no big deal to fit in among your major classes and should dovetail well with the sports management degree anyway.

Yes, it's possible to major in two unrelated areas. The only thing about it is you may end up needing more hours than 120 or 124 you'd need with only one major. I know someone who recently graduated with 5 majors and she graduated in 5 years.
