why don't you stay in your country and volunteer/do an internship in your country?

USA isn't the best country in the world,, we got violence here.

Now stay at your country...

If you stay on the continent more than 90 days no matter what you do, you need one.

Make sure that your visa situation and passport situation is completely CLEAR and NEAT because they really don't mess with security there.

I went to the states for a week holiday last january, and it literally took me an hour and a half to clear the customs in Chicago, and they double check your passport, take your fingers prints, picture of your face, a whole bunch of question (some of them stupid like: do you intend to commit a crime or rape in the US?, even if you're a small totally inoffensive looking GIRL!!!); it's a crazy experience really!
I almost thought they would ask for a urine and blood sample!!!!

you will need a student visa..which allows you to study in th estates.
go to the american or british consulate websites..and find out...also your university should help you with that.
