I got a 5 on my AP BC Calc Exam but I got a C average for the class. Which one would colleges care more about, my school grade or my AP exam grade?

need to know because i am trying to decide between going to UC santa cruz and UC santa barbara. I like ucsc better, but ucsb has better rankings and reputation. if i am trying to get into grad school (For instance for biology or med school- i don't know yet) how much will it matter which school i choose (assuming i do equally well at each school)?

I got out of high school in 05. I did graduate but i didnt receive my diploma because i didnt passed the proficiency exam(math part). So all i got is my transcript that says how many credits i earned and stuff. What can i do? Right now im in Chula Vista,CA. Anybody knows how can i get my Diploma?

Ps:before i moved to NV i used to study in Ontario,CA and there i did passed a portion of the Exit Exam(the only part i failed was english =[)
Can i re-do the Exit Exam in California and get my diploma there??

i requested her not to beat my kid and any problem get back to me this aggrivated her anger,she asked all her class students to stop mingling with my kid and avoids my kid in all group discussion and activity when i asked her regarding this she says she did not do so, i have applied for tc for my kid and complained it to principle also, teacher is a pet of principle so no action taken, my younger kid is not allowed to write test in her class for which my kid cries she studies very well, my elder daughter was a bright student due to the problem in school she is not studying properly, i am a working lady and i am not finding time to sit with my kids i leave at 7.20am and come back 8.30pm. can anyone guide as what action i can take against this teacher and institution, i dont want to go to police station as my kid does not want any such thing to happen. please guide me so that the seriousness of this problem is understood by the school authorities.

I'm currently working on finishing my GED at a Community College.

I ended up opting to get my GED after in the 8th grade I ended up transferring to an alternative school (It's still considered a high school, just more relaxed) after I had some issues with attendance. I always did well in school up until I had these issues.

I'm currently 18 and would technically be in my last year of High School after this summer. I'm not in school at the moment though as I have just two more tests to pass to receive my GED which I plan on getting this April.

So with good scores on my GED and everything, is it at all possible to attend a four year college without too much issue? I have no real problem going to a community college but I would love to get into a four year University.

Is this possible? Would I have to pass some sort of benchmark in community college?

I was admitted to USC and I have a good chance at UCLA... and even if I dont... then the decisions will be made for me... but if/when I do I need to make a decisions semi-quickly.

Money is a slight factor... my parents can afford USC but not happily...

so if UCLA is dead even in most aspects I'd rather just go to UCLA because of the price difference.

My BIGGEST concern is scheduling.. I heard UCLA has difficult scheduling due to compaction, and its ahrd to get classes and you can sometimes get stuck in college for 6+ years... I'm going to be a fine arts major and I was wondering is this true? and Is USC truely better at guaranteeing your classes...

Is USC really more tight knit than UCLA?

I want to have my classes... will I at UCLA? thats my biggest concern.. ahh help...

I just need opinions on which is better and WHY! ESEPCIALLy if you go there!!!

My guess is that they will become incapable of basic reasearching techniques without a computer and become incapable of independant thought, relegated to flipping burgers or dropping another basket of fries at your local fast food joint. Thoughts?
