What is your favortie proverb(s) and why?
Mine is "I want to be the type of person my dog thinks I am." Because dogs always think their masters are perfect, loving, and kind. I want to be that person.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"
I like this to use this proverb to remind myself that the hardest part about tasks that seem too hard or too long will remain that way unless I start them. The subtext to this proverb is that after the first step, the journey is shorter.

It is my favorite, because it is very descriptive and has helped me to avoid much unnecessary trouble.
