It does make me wonder when a question is asked on here that i can one click to wikipedia and find the answer in 2 seconds, why they just didnt bother to do it themselves...Takes longer to post the question than to find the answer!

There won't be an effect on their intelligence but they won't be prepared for many things. What happens if they go to college? What about a job that requires some research? What about a personal or medical problem they need to find a solution to? They will be sorry in the long run and I refuse to "help" them in this forum. I get very annoyed with the people that help them as they aren't doing them any favors. Hell most of these kids are too lazy to even read a damn book never mind figure out a thorny problem in math!

There is no harm if one gets one's homework answers on Yahoo or Key to model question & Answers one should try to grasp the basic knowledge of the subject matter and should generate a second thought on getting the answers, see.? Meaning You must ponder over the answers and not just gulp it down; that may cause indigestion in the brain.,

All that will happen, but I would say Yahoo isn't to blame. Just take one look at society(in America at least) and you can see how and why kids are losing the ability to think independently.

People will rely too much on this program and just copy and paste their homeworks and learning nothing which eventually would mean failing tests and failing grades...

Agreed. People will loose vital research skills by just asking others to answer their questions for them. If they are stuck, they need to consult their teacher.
