I am looking for courses that I could start anytime I wanted and go at my own pace. However, any online UC-transferable college course would be OK. If you know of any of these courses, tell me what the subjects are, how easy or hard the courses are and how to register for them. thanks!

I'm having trouble in my Physical Anthropology class. I am taking the class online, so there is no teacher lecturing the info. I basically have to read 3 chapters in two weeks and soak up the info as best as I can.

This subject is proving to be very difficult for me. The first test I got a D, the second C/B. On the second exam I made flash cards and studied them and read all the chapters I was supposed to read(although I will admit skiming through the last chapter).
The flash cards seem to help a little, though.

What are good ways to prepare myself for this class? Hard sciences are NOT my strongest subjects. How can I study better? I'm willing to do hard work, but it's frustrating when I do put in work and it doesn't really effect my grade.

Help!

My poem is a little odd, but it's pretty good. I'm not sure whether I should give a copy to my Language ARts teacher to look at, or whether I should give it to my advanced "reading" teacher and have it under his name. He may be a little more accepting. How do I go about this? DO I talk to him after class? Do I e-mail him? What? SHould I talk to my LA teacher instead? E-mail or talk to her?? Help! See paast questions for my poem! Thanks!

OK, due to an error @ the university, and paperwork processing fubars.... My hubby needs $7500.00, in additional financial aid before next week. If we can't come up with the $, he'll have to postpone starting grad-school in August. His grad-program only does fall admissions, and waiting another year will seriously impact all kinds of things. The loans & aid for grad-school in the fall are all set. But to finish his last few courses, accelerated, we need to obviously pay for tuition.... Any suggestions? We didn't qualify for Plus or Perkins loans, and his stafford's maxed out as of monday.... Direct/alternative student loans, so far aren't working.... They won't lend to us, for whatever reason, (they'll notify us in writing within 5-8 weeks) No cosigners available. We both work, but have extenuating financial obligations. I have good, but minimal credit. His isn't all that great.
Banks won't lend to us for tuition loans... They said we should qualify for student loans... Any advice?

How do you do sex determination on a bone?

I need as many details as possible. I DO know that, say, with a human skull the chin is more rectangular for males and rounder for females. That in the pelvis the space is tighter (harder to move finger inside of) when it comes to males and there's a lot of room if female.

When filling out my grad school apps, I come across this question:
"Have you ever been convicted of a crime, made a plea of guilty, accepted a deferred judgment, been adjudicated, or been required to register as a sex offender? (Misdemeanor traffic offenses are exempt.)"

The thing is I just got a citation for underage consumption - I will be 21 in 3 months! I will plea not guilty and there's a 95% chance it will get expunged (dropped off my record like it never happened).
Even if it isn't dropped it will show up like this on the court record:
"Underage Drinking-Possess-17-20 (1st). This is not a criminal offense and results only in a money penalty for this offense. "
Sooooo, how picky are they going to be? I technically pleaded not guilty and it's not a traffic offense. Should I report this and write the explaination why like they ask for? Why do they even need to know this for an engineering program?

I want to be a teacher when I grow up, but I honestly think that many teachers tend to be unfair (not that I blame them for having to be). Does anyone think that teachers are unfair considering that students are learning 6-7 subjects at once, have class all day with a quick lunch, and then have homework. Teachers can basically do all of their work in school if they wanted to considering they don't even have to teach the full day start to finish (I apologize if any do have to, I know in my school I work 8 out of 9 periods while teachers only teach 5 out of 9). And then, we are encouraged to take on extra curricular activities and other things. Really, who has it worse?
