It's not mandatory but many schools ask for the score. It's better to be safe than sorry.

the SAT isnt the only thing you need to get into college but it is very important. if you take the ACT's that should be accepted as well. but the SAT's have a heavier weight. lot of things count when you apply for school as well. your grades in HS and general performance. and your resume. if your college has a essay , that is also taken into consideration

Most colleges will forgo the sat if you've been out of high school for a certain amount of time. I would call the Universities admissions office to check. You'll probably be able to get out of it, but they may still require it for older students.

yeah but i know people who didn't write the sat's. thats cause they attended colleges in canada, which don't require them.
