i need some interesting topics for a paper. i really can't think of a strong and good argument to write about. i can't do abortion or legalizing marajuna so those two are out. does anybody have any ideas?

Capital punishment is always a hot topic.
Prayer in school, There are several issue surrounding illegal immigrants.

I have wrote so many papers over my many years at school and some of my favorite topics to write about were, same-sex marriage, Athesim versus Theism (Does god exist), smoking bans, immigration, The effect of media, censorship, the patriot act (who does it really effect), Children and the internet etc, good luck.

How about evolution vs creationism education in science classes? Or the ten commandments being displayed in American court rooms? Gay marriage? Racial profiling? (terrorism, airport security, police abuse, 'driving while black')

is it right or ethical to end the life of someone who is
* mentally/physically handicapped
* brain damaged
* old and infirm
* hard to care for
* terminally ill (cancer, hodgkins, alzheimers)
assisted suicide
* is it murder
* is it mercy
* is it ethically wrong to help somone who is dying anyway to go quicker through injection, medication cocktail, etc.
