My poem is a little odd, but it's pretty good. I'm not sure whether I should give a copy to my Language ARts teacher to look at, or whether I should give it to my advanced "reading" teacher and have it under his name. He may be a little more accepting. How do I go about this? DO I talk to him after class? Do I e-mail him? What? SHould I talk to my LA teacher instead? E-mail or talk to her?? Help! See paast questions for my poem! Thanks!

Thats not what I'ma asking about!! The poem, I think, is fine. I gave a copy to my no LA teacher, and he'll tell me what he thinks tomorrow at school. But what I want to know is:
1-should I also give a copy to my LA teacher?
2-If yes, then who should I enter the poem under, him or my LA teacher??

First of all, if you really like your poem enough to enter it into a contest then you should own it, you should be proud of your work, if you can't get over your own embarrassment then obviously the poem is simply not good enough.
Secondly, I would stay away from poetry.com, they are annoying and send you spam and give everyone awards and just try to sell you your own book.
Show this to your teacher if you want some reassurance and ask for some applications for local contests first. Don't be worried about the poem being "odd" if a teacher teaches any sort of English then I swear they have read things that are more odd than your poem.
