I'm currently working on finishing my GED at a Community College.

I ended up opting to get my GED after in the 8th grade I ended up transferring to an alternative school (It's still considered a high school, just more relaxed) after I had some issues with attendance. I always did well in school up until I had these issues.

I'm currently 18 and would technically be in my last year of High School after this summer. I'm not in school at the moment though as I have just two more tests to pass to receive my GED which I plan on getting this April.

So with good scores on my GED and everything, is it at all possible to attend a four year college without too much issue? I have no real problem going to a community college but I would love to get into a four year University.

Is this possible? Would I have to pass some sort of benchmark in community college?

It is possible. Instead of high school transcripts you would include a copy of your GED scres with your application.

I got into 4 different Universities with my GED scores, but opted to go to Community College first because of the enormous cost differential.
