I've been admitted to law school in Illinois in the fall for full-time status. That means I'll have to go to school during the day. But, would it be possible to also carry my retail management position at 44 hours per week? I've, of course, looked at student loans and will borrow the maximum 24,200.00 that is allowed for the 2007-2008 academic year. But, I'm worried such won't be enough. Many individuals tell me full-time work and full-time law school will be almost impossible. Will law studies be THAT time consuming? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks.

I will personally pick the best answer for the person that gives me a good trivia fact. it must be true, preferably include your source (as a link). the trivia fact must also be funny, this humor can either be direct, ironic, or the type "only smart people get". i want it to be the type of trivia that fascinates people, and could be used as a good conversation opener. 10 points for the person that gives me the best trivia... start sending as much as you can!

my husband and I make over 100,000 a year but we can't send our child to pre k because we make to much money. The school district that we live only provides a 4 year old program or pre k for low income families. Is this legal. Is the 4 year old program only an option? Is it not our constitional right for a free education

Did you know what you wanted to do?

Im going into grade 11 soon. Taking co-op with police..
The problem is my parents are strict and all. Its like NEED for them, that for me, any government job is MUST , preffered a cop.

I agreed of being a cop, to make my parents happy, and this idea kind of just got into my head "Ill be a police officer"
Now Im thinking..

"Is this what i really want? No.. just to make my parents proud."

But its my 50 years of living. I really dont know what to do with my future, I like colors and design, but also being active and controlling things. My parents are paying for my university, I told them if they dont let me be what I think I should do, Ill go with student loans, but they aren't letting me

Other customs that follow this holiday are lighting of lanterns and barbeques. The lanterns symbolize unity and also date back to the Mongols, but after many interviews I have yet to find out. The bright colors of the lantern bring jubilance into the homes of each family and also give Children an excuse to stay up all night. These lanterns can come in all shapes and sizes and are usually made with paper. Lighted lanterns are also hung conspicuously in front of homes. After prayers, there is feasting and merry-making with children carry lighted lanterns around the neighborhood. Today due to safety concerns most lanterns are electric.
Barbeques are a time for people to get together and have fun. Traditionally in China everyone from the town would come together and enjoy a barbeque together. During this time it is considered a time to reminisce and enjoy the food.

American schools are not preparing kids to survive on the street. By the end of 8th grade, kids should have had business math and general OSHA regulations. They should also have had enough life science to know how to take care of their body. We are making kids quit school by forcing them to learn subjects they know they will never use. We should be asking kids what do they want to learn.

Okay I'm gonan start with a set of words and the next person adds a next set of words so on and so on until we have a long sentence. If you don't want to play, don't write at all.... Okay.. Now for ex. let's say I write:

The girl walked to

the second person would say
The girl walked to the edge of the lake

the third person would say
The girl walked to the edge of the lake and fell over

and so on....
