There are 60 seconds in a minute. There are 60 minutes in an hour. If you want to find out how many seconds are in any number of hours, multiply that number by 60 and then multiply the answer by 60. For example:

5 hours * 60 minutes = 300 minutes
300 minutes * 60 seconds = 18,000 seconds
