Sounds like you're not in college yet, am I right? Why did I ask? Because, we don't get straight A's anymore. I remembered my first semester at the university, I got straight A's and get a 4.0 on my transcript and was on the National Dean's list, but it went down hill from there. Getting all A's is awesome, unbelievable, excellent, I ran out of good adjectives. But if you're in college, there is a big, huge, monster difference between B and C since you're are applying to higher education, grades count. Everyone of them counts. Ok, if you are still in high school or middle schools, I do however, recommend you try to get the best grades you can (straight A's) is cool. You will make your family proud of you. Good luck in get all the A's you can get, but don't forget to live your life to the fullest.

Absolutely!!! With all A's you can really choose what career and/or college you want to get into. With all A's the scholarships come looking for you!! Even if you decided to work for a couple of years, or take a couple of years off--that straight A record will still be there when you get back. Go for it!!! Congratulations if you already have it :)

getting only good grades will not do enough to get into college or any other education after. extracurriculars, talents, job experience are also important.

In the grand scheme of things it does not matter at all. Be sure to take some time to enjoy yourself rather than burn yourself out trying to get A's.

They're just letters.

Is this a serious question???

A's are considered a grade of 90%-100%, and are the best letter grade you can get.
