Ode to Independent Thinking and Creativity
by Teacher Man
Gone, Gone, Gone
Is the independent thinking of our youth
Gone, Gone, Gone
Is the creativity of our youth
Come, Come, Come
Ignorance, Stupidity, and Guile
Come, Come, Come
Poverty, Homelessness, Despair
Yahoo! Answers save the day
because our youth has lost their way.
Yahoo Answers, which way is north?
because our youth is going south
Amen....

This is an eulogy for a golf ball that is already past its "heydays", so now the golf ball is going to be "buried".
"With this golf ball's demise, the world has lost one of its best. It will always be remembered as the thing that served people the most, a shoulder one can lean on, easy to spend time with - a real, jovial company; the last but not the least, ready to conquer and proceed to its main objective - the hole... and always eager to grab success. Amen."

How about on the passing of your GPA?
Think of all the worn out sports gear you know
On the Deflation of the Football
Thoughts of a Splintered Baseball Bat
Reflections on a Lost Skate
Upon the Breaking of a Backboard
You can mention why it will be missed, why it was significant, how it met its fate, and what will happen after the "Passing"

Why not eulogize white wide receivers? Or that guy who was talking about golf ball, how about a eulogy for the golf ball you just deposited in the bottom of the lake.

What about eulogizing something that is gone (or almost gone), like LP records, movies on VHS, wooden golf club, wooden baseball bats, dial telephones, etc.
