Education & Reference - 3 March 2007

I'm currently an engineering student at Umass-Lowell and I commute. I'd like to live at school but I find Umass-Lowell to be kind of depressing and I don't really like it there.

What I'm asking is if Umass-Amherst is a suitable school for a quiet, introverted student like me?? I've heard wild stories about the place and people calling it "zoo"-mass. I'd like to get some feedback from students with experience there and I'd like to know if there are lots of people there with personalities like mine??

In my math class, we have to work on this computer program twice a week. There are different types of units to work. The unit I'm working on is okay but I can't get the numbers right. This boy,Hunter, is always taking pics of stuff.He's an innovater and finds things that will become a cool trend and he meets this girl Jen, and takes a pic of her shoelaces.They become good friends and he takes her to a meeting of his and she meets his manager or something.Then the manager turns up missing,they find her cell in an old building and go on a hunt to find her.They go to a HUGH party type thing and the bad people gave out shampoo they called "poo-sham" and it turned peoples hair purple and cameras that took the pics and sent them to a computer so they could use them to blackmail the people taking the pictures.Then they find the absolute perfect shoe and it gets burned in a huge fire..does this sound familiar to anyone??If you can help,thanks so much!!

My sons teacher did trow his homework without grading it in the trash can,because he did it with an erasable pen and her class room rule is pencil only!

I'm graduating in May and my college says to check the bookstore for prices, but they don't have anything listed. I know graduation isn't for awhile, I'm just curious about how much the cap and gown will cost. Most people buy their cap and rent the gown right? So how much is that usually?

I've been calculating the score I got from the uni, I find hard to get good grade, since I am such radical person, and yeah the truth I don't really heard their lecture. Such was then I filled the mid and last term exam with my own logic. My score is 2.22

Note:
Average good score for getting jobs in my country is 2.75 seen in many newspaper job ads

The maximum score is 4.


So my score is only 2.22. And from the beginning I have targeted to be 2.75. What's your strategy then?

I've been thinking to change my strategy now then, to just heard their lecture and just wrote them, and to answer the exams verbatim, ya know? I just don't think they really accepts creative writing do they?
