in silent running you are only not heard, you might be seen or caught on camera etc. but in stealth neither are you heard nor seen or detected in any way.

Silent implies not noise, but there can be visablity. Stealth would be silent but also not see, it is absence of any detection.

stealth isn't necessarily completely silent. and it's just in stealth mode! super duper sly style.

stealth is unheard and invisable thats why they call the USA fighter a stealth because its on you before you see it practically

I belive there really isn't a difference. Both, you are trying to run and conceal yourself in some way, shape, or form. It doesn't matter which one you're doing besides the fact you're trying to keep yourself from being noticed.
