Can we all agree to stop supplying in-depth answers to questions which are obviously homework assignments? Some of these kids (and that includes too many college students) don't even bother trying to hide the fact with "questions" like "Name the three branches of the federal government and explain how a bill becomes a law. I need this by Friday."

Yahoo Answers is a wonderful site for getting advice, professional help or for simply seeking out intellectual discourse. However, the site's reputation is going to be dragged down by well-intentioned but misguided individuals who, for whatever reason, are happy to do someone else's homework.

If you want to provide a few important points, recommend a few books (or a trip to the library), fine. But anything beyond that is simply rewarding laziness. So, can we all agree to stop supplying the answers to homework assignments and encourage kids to explore the learning process on their own?

I am doing a research paper for school in my English class and my topic is Cliques. I was wondering if anyone could help me by responding with a few line about your take on this issue. Anything good or bad is great. What are some other things that I could cover in this paper that would still be in the scope of my topic. Thanks for your help.

I love this series called Alice. The next book is coming out in May and the author Phylis Naylor only gave one clue. The book is called Dangourosly Alice. The clue is Alice goes to an unknown man's house at night because he is a (6 letter word). Alice is 16. The 6 letter word is not plural. It is not a female. It does not start with a vowel. If you wouldn't mind please think of some 6-letter words that work!
THANKS!

Is the materials you learn in Biology 100 and Chemistry 105 the same?

Because in our school you have the choice to take Chemistry 105 OR Biology 100.

And both class use the same book.

i'm a sophomore with a gpa of 3.86. i've taken all regular classes including physical science( i shouldn't have taken it) last year. and this year, i'm taking all honors
i really want to attend nyu so i'm going to apply for early decision. but the problem is that in my junior year, there is only one AP class i can take. in my senior year i'll be taking 4 but for early decision, you apply in november so they won't really be seeing how you are doing in my ap classes. do you think they really care a lot about ap classes and do you think i have good chance?
i'm in debate, key club, band, and national honors society.
thanks
