imposable for a positive number. 400 divided by 20 = 20

Do you mean 400 divided by 20? If so, the answer is 20. Using basic math 20 goes into 40 twice and then drop the zero down. Otherwise, if the problem is 20 dived by 400, your answer is 0.05. You have to divide and move use a decimal point and place holding zeros. It works out to be 400 divided in 200.0 or 400 into 2000. I hope this makes sense, and that I didn't just give up the answer.

.05

20/400 can be simplified to 2/40, by cancelling out the zeros.
You can further smplify this to 1/20, which changes to the decimal .05.

Hope this helped! Good Luck!
