How it sounds in a sentence like you can't say "house is where the heart is"...it sounds wrong I guess it lso depends on where you live and what other people around you say...most people will say leats go to your house or my house...not lets go to your home or my home...its pretty much whatever fits best and what is gramatically correct for the sentence

A house is just a structure, inhabited, uninhabited, for sale with out someone to love it and care for it, a home is what a house is not. Home sweet home, people, person, family who cherish the house they live in, therefore making it their home.
