Education & Reference - 27 February 2007

Well, Right now im in highschool and im planning to become a history teacher, i just wanted to know what classes do u need. Here are some classes i toke already and taking right now. I am in grade 11. I toke Geography of Canada, Canadian History in the Twntieth Century, World History to the Sixteenth Century and World Religions. thanks for all your help if i get any.

ok so i took a history quiz and let my friend lookat it for her later class quiz and the teacher heard about it and we got caught. and we both got zeros but anyway my real question is how much will this affect college admissions? im a pretty good student and i usually get good grades and i did well on the psats but i havent taken the SATS yet cus im still a freshman but i really want to go to a good college and ive never really cheated before, its just my friend hadnt studied and i just wanted to help her out. but will this go on my permanent record and will i still get into college??

I've been out of school for awhile. But I've always wondered about this situation that happened to me in college:

I was studying for a midterm, and someone who had this professor before gave me a midterm from 2-3 years earlier. I studied my notes and looked at the old midterm to see what type of questions the test would contain, and what the structure of the test was like.

Is this cheating?

I am chilling in my car, windows down, music up. This is where it all happens. Everything comes to life and out in the open. All my thoughts transform into action. I stay in a deep and thoughtful trance. I might as well be floating or skating, for the ride I take is effortless, yet so much thought is used, not on the actual drive, but other things, like what to wear the next day, why this girl is ignoring me and why my cousins are so amusing. You know, the important things. The things that matter the most.
This ride, whether long or short, creates a specific time for me. Even when I have someone else with me, I can think about what they say or just dream my own dreams. I can look at everything, and I see my own special touches in the car; my graduation, my textbooks on the floor, quarters I use for parking, the people in the next car look over, and the red lights of the car in front of me.
Everything has its own place, and its own reason for being in my sanctuary. I look to those things for inspiration and even for a pinch of reality. I can recall riding down the highway, going a little faster than I should. I didn't really know where I was going, but at the time I was extremely stressed out. I decided to drive, drive and see the sights, drive and understand things, but most of all, just drive. During that ride my life flashed before me and gave me so much insight on what I needed to accomplish.
It was at that moment that riding in my Saturn was the best thing for me. This place is the ultimate haven for my thoughts, pressures and attitudes. Who would have thought it was just my car. Me and my cousins, just riding in my 2006 charcoal gray Saturn ION.
