Talk to the teacher about it.

More than likely it won't affect college, even if it was on your permanent record as a freshman , as long as you dont do it again

You usually have to do it 3 times to get on the college's bad side

Stop letting your friends cheat off you.

Apologize to the teacher and take full responsibility (It was my fault, i should have known better than to share the test with someone who claimed he already took the exam..etc..)

You should be good to go, just don't do it again.

It won't affect your college maybe if you are planning on Harvard or something but since it's your Freshman year it won't matter. People still cheat in college all the time and get caught and nothing happens so don't get too worried about it.

I'm glad people still feel bad when they get caught cheating. This won't affect college entrance. Would you have still felt bad if you hadn't been caught?

Yes, Freshman grades are not counted into your GPA, That starts in your Sophomore year.

no one really counts freshman year. don't do it again. most people don't cheat. in th efuture use the experienc eas an excuse Not to 'help' someone cheat, even if they are your friend.

You'll be fine.

Don't make a habit of doing it, though.
