Good schools with history majors in upstate new york?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good college with a decent history program in new york (live in up state, woud rather stay in the state and save some cash). Looking to go the law school after, thank you for any help...

Syracuse has a very strong history program. It is not a SUNY, but often provides very good financial aid packages to undergrads.

Syracuse also has an excellent record of placing its graduates into law schools.
