We live in a non-English speaking country and I need to be able to help my son (4 yr) learn to read English as well as the language they speak/teach at school. He speaks both languages fluently. What are the best methods to teach reading and what books should I buy (we have some Dr. Seuss, and others)?

I am 19, single, and I have two little girls, I will qualify for FAFSA because of my income level.

I just think it's really daunting and scary. But I want a good future for my daughters and myself. But I am worried about paying for daycare while I'm in class and just being able to afford everything. I know the grant will not pay for everything.

So should I go?

I am tring to go to (community) college (for nursing) but can't afford to pay for it. For a Associate's degree and all the other recommended courses it seems like it will total around $6,000-$7,000. I was denied financial aid because what my husband and I made to much for the 2005 tax year. I applied for them to review it again because we had no income for the 2006 year. I have a bad feeling that they are going to deny me again. What are some other options for paying for college. (BTW... My credit isn't that good because of a previous finanical stiuation) I am 26 and have been out of high school since 1998. I am married but have no kids. There are very few scholarships offered where I live for people that have been out of school this long most are for high school grads or single parent. All input is welcomed!

well its basically the end of the semester, with finals next week and i barley found out this week that im failing my pre calc class with a 52%. i have never failed a class in my life (junior in hs) and it was a big shock to me. i still have time to bring my grade up ( i have lots of homework that i didnt do to turn in and the final) and i know it is all my fault, i cant blame anyone else but me and i should have kept on top of things but it is so hard when you are not pushed in that class. my greatest hope is that i can get a B from the homework i turn in, extra credit and the final but im doubtful of that (im not sure if i do all of those that it will be enough) very scared about what my parents, especially my dad will say if i get a c or even worse a d. what should i do and if i do get a c, will that effect my chances for a university??

I know working as a pharmacist is in many ways great. However, I've heard from several reasonable sources that online phamacies are increasing and thus there will be less place for pharmacists. What do you guys think? (Obviously noone will know until the time comes) I'm just beginning to fill the pre-req for pharm d program, so I have to see the future as well.
