I can't seem to find anywhere how much it actually costs. I realize all the different steps that have to be taken, but how much do they actually cost? I've taken the lessons, so I'm ready, and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to tell me what the tests cost. I know they aren't free!

I got letters telling me that my letters of reccomendation had not yet been recieved at a few of the schools which i applied to. I was wondering if I should be worried or not because I asked my teacher and she admitted that they were sent Jan 8th, not Jan 1st as was the due date. These letters were to private schools. I was just wondering if it was a big deal. I personally think they only make the deadlines to scare people into sending it in on time and if it happens to be a little late it doesnt matter. But im a little scared it might have an impact? any opinions? anyone else have this happen?

I have to write a 2-3 page report on anything dealing with crime scene investigation. I can't think of any good ideas, possibly cause its 2am. I was wondering if anyone had any good creative and possibly controversial ideas for my paper. He has 150 students turning in this paper, so I would like to stand out, plus i'd love to learn about something neat. ALL ideas welcome. Again, it just has to have something to do with crime scene investigation.

If a student is preparing for government Job and went to give an interview . If the Board ask about Hobbies then what kind of answer should he given by him/her to make a good impression over the Board for ensuring his/her selection. The case becomes quite serious when the candidate is doing a full time Job because he is economically not so sound and he is having no time for any hobby. The answer should be in such a way that the Board could think that the Candidate is not telling a lie because the Board also asks questions related to the hobbies. Also describe me about some co curricular activities because the board also ask questions with these related topics also.

I thought of this quote to put on the T-shirt of the Dept of Chemical Engg., A.C.Tech.

The reference is to the quote " Some see the glass as half-full, some see it as half-empty ".

"Over-designed" is a chemical engineering term that means you design equipment that can take more load than you're going to put now, so that the capacity can be expanded later on.
A glass half-full is over-designed - to a chemical engineer.

Most questions get replies like, "Do your own homework".
Why reply with that answer when it is clearly in the right category?

By labelling a category as Homework Help puts emphasis on not learning for oneself but I could place a question in the Science category and get lots of decent answers even though... thanks, you've just done my homework for me...

Would it be better to not have the Homework category at all? What do you think?

I am 16 years old and I graduated 2 years early from high school by passing the CHSPE (equal to high school diploma). I am currently attending a community college and i will have completed 72 Semester units, 65 are transferable to a UC by Spring of 2008. My current GPA is 4.00 - 3 consecutive semesters, I have extra extracurriculars such as MESA (Math and Science Honors Society) many hours volunteering at hospitals and tutoring at the math study center at my college. Additionally, I will take the SAT in May. Hopefully I will do good, my goal is 2200 or higher.

That is my information and i jut need advice if I have a chance of being accepted into Stanford as a 3rd yaer transfer student (junior). Also i am on financial aid...

Thanks in advance...

It taught about the immune system and what happens when you get sick. It's one of those movies I saw on movie day (like "Free to be you and me" or "All Summer in a Day") in elementary school in the late 70s/early 80s. It might have been old even then, but I remember really enjoying it. Does anyone know the title?
