Im from Toronto Canada and was wondering how would I look about going 2 college in the U.S? How do schools in the U.S determine if im eligible to attend post secondary school in the U.S? Do I have to write the SATS? or would they just let me enter based on my marks /average?

The post office will say for a certain price it will get there in a week (very expensive) and for another price it will take up to 6 weeks (not much cheaper) either way it usually takes 6 weeks or longer. The post office like to rip people off and I'm not kidding. I sell on ebay and its just not fair to charge people who live outside the US a fortune for shipping when it takes forever. The package will leave the US within a day or 2 and then when it reaches outside the US, someone is really dragging their butt. I know it doesn't take a mail ship weeks to get there. Anyone else had a problem like this??

at school our principal makes us wait outside for like 25 minutes.this is every morning at around 6:45 am. when the temperature outside is around 32 degrees. we wait because the school is not opened yet, and because we have to wait for the buses to get to school. mean while him and the teacher are standing in front of the doubled glass doors staring out side with their arms crossed. i have told my perant........but is this really fair? and we are in middle school(6-8 grade). oh and it does not matter is it's raining or snowing...........what should i do? HELP!

My wife and I recently put our daughter into a daycare/preschool that we thought had a great deal of emphasis on learning. Well we are finding out there is a lot of socialization and different "centers" that she work at, but she can't recognize but 7 letters and can count to 20 but can only recognize numbers up to 10. My wife and I who are very busy with our business took inventory of this the other day and were shocked. We totally and fully blame ourselves for not working on this more with her and not checking with the school regularly about her progress. However, we now have about 8 months before she starts kindergarten and we need to understand what is the standard for kindergarten children and what things to concentrate on before August. She is very smart and will catch on quick. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all that answer.

How should I write out a bragsheet to someone I don't know very well? I am hoping to transfer to a private highschool next year, and have asked my principal to write me a recommendation. I've never spoken to her prior, but she asked me to email her a list of accomplishments, etc. I want to write it in letter format and sound semi-professional, but I'd also like to give her a sense of what I'm like as a person. Any suggestions? I'm not too sure if she wants me just to write about all that I've participated in, or go into detail about why I'm doing them. Should I include some bits of what I want to do after highschool as well? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

On a cold an foggy night young Oliver Twist, an orphan boy, was forced to rob a home by William Sikes, and Toby Crackit. As they reached the yard Oliver begged and pleaded for them to stop but Sikes frightened Oliver by sticking a gun to his head. Toby opened the nearest window and shoved Oliver in and told him to open the door so they can get in. Oliver was frightened and didn’t know what to do; he didn’t want to be a criminal. Instead of opening the door for Sikes, Oliver darted up the stairs to alarm the family. Before he knew what was going on a flash, a bang and smoke came from the distance and two frightened man flashed before him. Oliver had been shot. Sikes had fired his own pistol at the man and grabbed Oliver and drew him through the window. Oliver became unconscious.

hi there i have 5 children ages 9, 7, 5, 3 & 2 and am 12 weeks pregnant with no 6. I have been home educating since my eldest was a baby, but i must admit i am so tired and the housework isnt getting done our routine has fallen by the wayside and i am shattered.

any ideas from people with large families or experts in time management - my hubby says i am putting too much pressure on myself and things will right in the end but i know from experience how undisciplined our household can get without our routine.

And ones things for sure i CANNOT live in mess and clutter gets me all depressed and affects my mental health (no joke) so am worried dont want to have 6 kids and still have to scale mount washmore lol

I'm 18 and taking a year off before going to college. My major is photography. I've gotten into a few good schools and one of them is giving me a scholarship. My parents are paying for my expenses. Right now I have a job which I work part time at and I'm saving some money up.

I'm really scared about my future-- I'm worried that I won't be able to get a good job out of college, you see the articles around. I just want to be able to afford living independantly and have some money left over to save or spend on a few luxuries.

I'm really insecure and have so much anxiety about this. I want to make my parents proud of me.

I'm looking for somebody to tell me it'll be alright, I guess... I don't know. I'm scared of a lot of things. Can somebody say something to make me feel better or give me some advice? Thanks.

HE GOT kicked out beacuse he was chring to stop a fight beacuse two boys were fighting for the a GIRL and when you was telling his friend not to fight beacuse they they will get in trouble.The other kid spat on the 11 grade boy that wasn't fighting and he got so angry that they bit him up .
