I have to do a 25pg research paper and I do not know what topic I should focus it on...
Some of my ideas were science and religion like cloning and that type thing...but I think I am going to enter into a dilema but what do you think?
If you were me what would you focus on?
THANK YOU FOR YOUR OPINIONS IN ADVANCED

if you want to do something related to science and religion/ethics you may want to try the debate over embryonic stem cell research. I recently wrote a 7 page paper on that topic, but there was definately enough info for a longer paper, my professor just asked for a shorter one! If you are looking for a good resource that describes each side of the debate as well as history, recent developments, etc. try to get access to the CQ Researcher database, if you are connected with a University they likely subscribe to it and can show you how to access it. Anyways, good luck on your paper, hope this helps!

I recently did a smaller research paper but My paper was on the oceans. There are some great websites to use as well here is a good one for general info to get started http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/ocean/
Wikipedia has some great info as well.
I know a guy who did a great paper on guns. Generally a good research paper will be able to exhaust all aspects of what you are writing about. For instance on guns you describe the different categories of guns and then place the different guns in each category. You should choose somthing you wouldn't mind knowing more about. I started my paper thinking about religion as well but the plethora of info was causing my head to spin. My teacher explained that to do a thorough paper on that subject would end up being a book. I think maybe you need to narrow down your topics to somthing well contained cloning might be a good topic but science in general would be too much.Hope this helps...

For 25 pages you want to pick a topic on which you can find lots of information. A controversial topic is sometimes a good one as often you can find lots of information on both sides of the argument. A few ideas ....
Consider the pros and cons of the medical use of marijuana.
How about right to die?
Research the effects of global warming on the Arctic.

You should try something like the war on terror because it is a controversial topic making it easier to be long.
You should also do something on a topic you like or want to know about because doing 25 pgs on something you hate or dilaike is going to be very tedious.

How about the effects of pollution on the environment in which you live? There are lots of statistice (look at your waterbill for instance to see how contamination is monitored). Air pollution, water pollution, trash that does not degrade (like rubber tires). You could offer solutions for some of these issues.

I would probably write about the war on terror.
(EDIT)
..okay.. I see you don't want to write about the war on terror..how about...the Da Vinci Code??....It involves religion...Ohhh!!!....Why don't you write about the evolution of man...you can write about how the worlds changed from the invention of fire...to ipods... you could probably write a bunch about that....gluck.
