I will be going to school to get my associates degree for legal assisting. A friend of mine, though, told me that it would be a waste of time and I should go to another school to be a paralegal... what is the difference? And is one better than the other? Thanks!

This is going to sound weird, but is it still possible to go to a university at 23 and live in the dorms, do people think of you as too old. I know it's still a young age, but the whole 4 years to get a degree at 18 is killing me. I am about to finish my Associates of Art at a Junior College at 22. I pay my way through college and it's taking me twice as long to get through it. Anyone else out there doing this? (I know this sounds immature, but I just want to see what others are doing out there..)

What are your chances of getting accepted into a grad school if you have a low g.p.a (b-), but high scores on your gre? I know that grades matter a lot, but what if you were in the 80th-90th percentile for all of your tests? Serious answers only.

Think about it when someone asks you to sit on their lap or when you say it do you ever think about wat a lap is? I mean when you stand up it cant just disappear. when you stand up its a thigh but when you sit its a lap.

if thats the case then how come your knees dont have different names when you sit down?

Anyway my point is that a lap is not real. The term "lap" is a figment of your and my imagination it does not exist.

so for those who have read this question the next time someone says sit on my lap or you say it just think about it. Does a lap really exist? Or is it a figment of your imagination?

I would like to study in either England or Canada, but I do not know what editors look for in journalists in either of these countries, if someone knows, or is a journalist please answer! I would like to know what course I should follow and where it is best to take it. Also, it would be useful to know where I can work, I was thinking about an in-flight magazine, but if anyone has any other suggestions I am open to ideas. I love to travel and would love to travel as part of my work as I am used to travelling already and I love to write. I am currently following an IGCSE course and will finish my A levels in England by 2009. I know I want to be a journalist please help!
