At first I thought you said 'wii' as in the Nintendo Wii. The controller can be used as a sword in the game 'Red Steel'.
Your question is relatively clever except that even a blunt sword could 'split hairs' (the play on words of 'split heirs' as in heirs to a fortune). So the question's cleverness is slightly diminished by this aspect.
