Funny prank. You can be fined for pulling a fire alarm. Especially if the fire department ends up coming to the school.

It's a crime. I guess you can call it a prank. Same as if you were to cut the brake lines on someone's car or to throw a live grenade into a classroom of children.

If someone dies and they catch that student who pulled the alarm, you can bet they'll be up against murder or manslaughter charges. It's the same as yelling "Fire!" in a crowded room and someone gets trampled. It's not free speech. It becomes a crime.

No it's not a prank. It is illegal and you could get arrested. What happens if they are on route to the school and a real emergency occurs? Think about it.
