Well im starting my second year in college and I'm becoming a Full-time student. I will be having 3 classes int he morning with 10 minutes between each. I will be carrying about six books in just Tuesdays and Thursdays morning. I usually carry my books but this semister is bigger and more books. I don't want to use the rolling luggage. I was told the Tote bag and the messenger bags are also helpful but i wanted something that fit all my books and it comfortable and at the same time stylish. Any suggestions ?

I'm to a breaking point. I love the idea of public schools, socially but the quality of education has me between a rock and a hard place. While I want my children to be able to do "normal" things I prioritize education BEFORE riding a yellow school bus, recess, and cafeteria food.

What made you choose to home school your children?

Are you a part of a home schooling group in your community?

What is a typical day like for you?

How do you get through the scrutiny of criticism for your choice?

I am a dedicated person. I’m an organizer and planner by nature. I love doing all those “teacher” things but at the same time I worry if I would be doing a disservice to my children by taking the less popular route.

Please, if you have any great home schooling sites with statistics or relevant information it’d be greatly appreciated! My children have yet to go to kindergarten so that would be where I’d be starting at.

Thank you all for your thoughts and information!

I am currently going for a Computer Science degree but I am thinking of changing my major. Pretty much I am just looking for other people's opinion or personal experience with which worked better for them in locating a job.

1)Unflinching honesty in the face of facts is a recurrent theme in Frost's nature poetry

2)The very fact that the speaker can recognize in the landscape the full extent of his loneliness shows the mind's capacity for courage.

3)In both his nature poems and his pastorals the poet portrays average human experience by projecting it into a world remote and distinct.

4)A final aspect of the nature poetry and one of the most important is Frost's strong tendency to personification. The device is common enough in poems about nature, and most readers are likely to take an unfavorable view of it. It suggests a sentimental pantheism or oversimple allegorizing. Frost's personifications, however, are different from those to which the Romantics have accustomed us. Their personifications generally take the form of brief metaphor, while his are nearly always extended analogies

Hello, I am truly concerned about the fact that i am going to a state school (CalStateLA) to receive my undergrad, rather than a more prestigous school like a UC or USC. Will it seriously matter which school I am coming from to be admitted in Loyola Marymount Law or USC Law. P.S. I am an English major

I have a huge debate on this tommorrow, and i really cant see how i can defend a city where they send their kids at teh age of 7 to the military, how can that be any good? Yes, the spartan women have more rights than the athenian women, but i need more reasons than just that. They are only good at war, how does that do me any good in a debate???

This Jaqui girl at my school is getting on my nerves more than usual. I don't do a single thing to her, I don't even look at her to her and she keeps calling me a lesbian just because I'm very close to my friend (who I've been friends with since pre-first).

She said we were gross and we eat each other out all the time between classes and all this stuff.

I told my guidance counselor about it and she told me that I shouldn't even bother telling on her, because when it gets back to Jaqui that I told, she's just going to know it bothers me and do it again. I think that was a lazy comment. It's part of her job to make sure emotional harm doesn't go on.

She even asked me why it bothered me. I'm not a homophobe or anything, I'm bi-sexual (haven't told anyone at school), but 1- the girl Jaqui was talking about was my best friend and I'd never do sexual stuff with her & 2- I'm not lesbian.

But I think the comment Jaqui made could qualify for sexual herrassment, couldn't it?

Okay hi i'm under so much pressure. it's my junior year in high school. I do all my homework. on a typical week i don't have much of a weekend due to homework, i don't have any leisure time. Right i'm taking a rest from it all. I need to revitalize myself. i always so tired of my daily routine. Homework for three hours, an hour of chores, an hour of study, thirty times for a shower, an hour for reading. Upon all this i still feel behind. I'm trying my best and i'm getting an A's. When i think about how much time and work i dedicate to my studies i feel like crying and just giving up hope. I work so HARD and i'm still passing with C's and D's. I'm telling the honest to God truth. I'm trying my hardest. Everyone's like that's easy how come you're not passing. It's ridiculuous. I study and they don't. I consult the teach. I do all my work. I try as hard as possible to do the extra credit when given. what should i do?

They leave us so to the way we took,
As two in whom them were proved mistaken,
That we sit sometimes in the wayside nook,
With michievous, vagrant, seraphic look,
And try if we cannot feel forsaken.
