Okay hi i'm under so much pressure. it's my junior year in high school. I do all my homework. on a typical week i don't have much of a weekend due to homework, i don't have any leisure time. Right i'm taking a rest from it all. I need to revitalize myself. i always so tired of my daily routine. Homework for three hours, an hour of chores, an hour of study, thirty times for a shower, an hour for reading. Upon all this i still feel behind. I'm trying my best and i'm getting an A's. When i think about how much time and work i dedicate to my studies i feel like crying and just giving up hope. I work so HARD and i'm still passing with C's and D's. I'm telling the honest to God truth. I'm trying my hardest. Everyone's like that's easy how come you're not passing. It's ridiculuous. I study and they don't. I consult the teach. I do all my work. I try as hard as possible to do the extra credit when given. what should i do?

➔ Homework Help
If you're taking IB or AP classes--it's time to stop. Ask your parents if you could cut down on the chores, because you're having problems with schoolwork. Don't you dare drop out of school, because you work hard, and it's important. What's the problem with school--do you do badly on tests, or doing homework, or what? Make sure your participate in class--that's a huge thing the teachers look for. Go in during lunch and talk with your teachers about how you've been having so much trouble--ask them if they would recommend any professional tutors, or students that could help tutor you. AT least once a month, just take a Saturday off and relax, hang out with friends. You'll feel revitalized for the rest of the week.
Also, talk to your school counselor. I know I know, the counselors don't understand anything, they don't know how to help you. But they can help you deal with your depression, and talk with your teachers and parents about your school situation. I think you're quite brave do be doing this, and I wish you the best of luck.

you seem really stressed. i suggest you go take a break and don't be so up tight on yourself. if you are taking AP classes, maybe you should drop it because it is not suitable for you. if you find that you study very very hard, but still get poor grades on tests, then you should find a tutor to help you out. sometimes studying a lot doesn't neccessarily mean you will ace the test. first of all, you must understand and retain the material you are studying. studying without knowing what it is really about it useless. andn yes, teachers do give really difficult tests sometimes, and that will require you to think outside of the box or learn how to apply what you have learned in order to answer the questions. you're really hardworking, keep it up, just dont over exert yourself, and take mini breaks once in a while. good luck !

Too much study is a bad thing. It sounds like you need to concentrate on the subjects you are bad at. A c is not that bad.Are you choosing subjects that you can handle?Maybe you need to talk to your parentsYou said you get A. Do not be too hard on yourself.Next year learn to reorganise your timetable.

Maybe you're stressed. Take a break, take a nap, or something. Then get back to work. I know I can't work if I'm upset or bitter about something. Maybe it's the same for you.

Take a break. Try meditating. Identify what's keeping you from an A and fix it.
