Well im starting my second year in college and I'm becoming a Full-time student. I will be having 3 classes int he morning with 10 minutes between each. I will be carrying about six books in just Tuesdays and Thursdays morning. I usually carry my books but this semister is bigger and more books. I don't want to use the rolling luggage. I was told the Tote bag and the messenger bags are also helpful but i wanted something that fit all my books and it comfortable and at the same time stylish. Any suggestions ?

I suggest the eBags downloader bag. I have that and it has lasted 4 years with an average of 30-50 pounds of books and laptop in it on a daily basis! it's a very comfortable bag and looks good, too, at least in my opinion! It's specifically a laptop bag, but the days I don't have a laptop with me, I use the laptop section to hold notebooks and larger books and then use the rest to hold the smaller books.

A good back pack should do it.
Ditch messenger bag, with a lot of book you need something that is balanced between both of your shoulders, trust me. I used a messenger for my whole BA and now i'm a grad student with spine problems!

Ask your instructors which books you will actually need every day.

If they say all of them . . . dig out the luggage!

I had the same backpack for my entire college career (six years with grad school), and it held up. In fact, four years after graduating, I still use it. At one point, a friend of mine weighed it, and it was 25 pounds!

Best of luck with finding a solution.

You definitely want a two-strapped bag, because all of that weight on one shoulder will hurt too much.
I LOVE Jansport book bags. They're very durable, and I think they decent. They don't cost much and you can get them in many colors and styles. Their shoulder straps are also heavily padded.
