This Jaqui girl at my school is getting on my nerves more than usual. I don't do a single thing to her, I don't even look at her to her and she keeps calling me a lesbian just because I'm very close to my friend (who I've been friends with since pre-first).

She said we were gross and we eat each other out all the time between classes and all this stuff.

I told my guidance counselor about it and she told me that I shouldn't even bother telling on her, because when it gets back to Jaqui that I told, she's just going to know it bothers me and do it again. I think that was a lazy comment. It's part of her job to make sure emotional harm doesn't go on.

She even asked me why it bothered me. I'm not a homophobe or anything, I'm bi-sexual (haven't told anyone at school), but 1- the girl Jaqui was talking about was my best friend and I'd never do sexual stuff with her & 2- I'm not lesbian.

But I think the comment Jaqui made could qualify for sexual herrassment, couldn't it?

Your counselor is lazy. You might want to look into the harrassment thing. I'm not sure, but I think you can file for it. (but look it up cause I'm not sure. Google the definition and then all that falls under it to see if it applies)

If Jaqui gets suspended (which she may or may not for this...depends on your school) then it won't matter what she has to say cause she won't be in school for the next few days!

I don't blame U for being bothered by her comments. I hate it when ppl say I'm something that I am not and they won't shut up about it.

I understand where your coming from about the sexual harrassment, but at the same time, if your not a lesbian you shouldn't even let it bother you. People are going to talk about you for the rest of your life, but if you feel that you really can't take her harrassing you anymore then maybe you should file a complaint.....

In my extreme college, i do not imagine lets replace them -- they were assigned in accordance for your very last call. yet when some thing, bypass to the properly counselor and talk, enable them comprehend you're truly not satisfied. or you should continuously enable that one counselor comprehend next time you word them that you opt for a diverse one. in the journey that they are truly a jerk and make a snide statement or rude reaction, you should use that once you tell the properly counselor lol. good luck.

Some Guidance Counciller. You did the right thing.
Had you taken matters into your own hands and socked that one the counciller would be the first to wantyou punished and would have said why didn;t you come to me First.
That type wants to make the money but doesn't want anybody to rock the boat. They might have to earn that fat cheque.

well being bisexual mean you are both straight and a lesbian - so you are one (not sure why you are defensive on this point - but no worries). As for you guidance counselor she is sort of right - but you haven't exactly giving her the full story - so I don't know why you would expect a good response from her.

Good Luck!!!

In a way she is right, perhaps she is just trying to prepare you for the real world. Pretty soon you will leave school and have to fend yourself, and it's true if you let a bully know that they bother you they keep at it.

It is fine to tell what she is doing. You should tell someone who can have a talk with her. Also you should ignore her. She wants to bother you. The more she succeeds, the more she will like it. So ignore her.
