I'm beginning to wonder how many of you have really received a diploma for graduating from grade school and high school. It's very sad. No wonder so many young people can't get a decent job. You know who you are, so I'd suggest that you start studying your English. It will be worth your while.

I have no idea how much better R-8 is, and how much it would save you. I guess it's generic. This is (for some strange reason) for math class. Could anyone help? Thanks in advance.

have an autistic child as well as I am a paraprofessional in special education. I work in my sons class. There is a little boy in his class that is aggressive. The parents refuse to seek medication. this boy kicks, scratches, pinches, spits, hits...you name it. He has to be watched at all time because he will grab anything and destroy it. Ive never seen anything like it and I have a severly autistic son myself. Nothing can be left down, drinks food...or it will end up everywhere. Well I was his teacher today and he boxed my ear so hard I lost hearing for a day. He also assulted my son a few minutes later where i almost took my son and walked out. My question, what rights does a teacher have?!?! I know all rights my son has as a student but how much abuse can someone take before the school will step in and force the parents to wake up! I love working in spec. ed but this child is the extreme . He has already scratched another teachers cornea . Cant find anything on the net, help!

Third, traveling on the “Underground Railroad” was a dangerous journey due to harsh weather. They had to keep going for ten to twenty miles until they reached a safe house where they would eat and rest for the night. It didn’t matter if it was raining or snowing, the slaves focused on being freed. During this time, many people tried to track down these escaping slaves and taking them back to their plantations for a reward, otherwise known as a bounty. Considering the risks, Harriet made nineteen trips on the “Underground Railroad”, rescuing family members to freedom.

I'm 13 and having trouble. Any suggestions?

Probably not. But it was. Even at private schools. Why? Because back then (before about 1985) people wouldn't be caught dead at the financial aid office. Going there meant not just that you were poor but that your parents where some kind of farm hand or something. So only the really POOR people borrowed money for school. Then the government said they were going to make colleges "affordable" And the government does this buy loaning you poor slobs more and more money! The more money they loan and "give" you the more the tuition goes up.

Here is my question: Do you kids know that if you would all fricking REFUSE to step foot into the financial aid office COLLEGE TUITION WOULD COME DOWN SO THAT YOU COULD AFFORD IT WITHOUT FINANCIAL AID?

im on financial aid for college, and im on 14 credit hours 12 hours is fulltime. i decided to withdrawl from my biology class. just becuz i took my 3rd exam and knew that i did awful and it would ruin my chance of a good gpa. so i didnt plan on dropping until the last minute. so i went from fulltime to 3/4 time. i thought that i would only have to pay for the class that i dropped but they sent me a bill today for 1000$ i dropped two days ago(15th) and on monday im going to call the financial aid office. but whats going to happen? whats going to happen will i have to pay for all my classes or just for the one that i dropped?

Just recently we had to get a new principal since the superintendent thinks our old one was causing an increase in drop-out rates. Nobody likes the new lady.....not even some teachers. We tried some stuff today during school, but resulted in us being put under lock down. How do we get rid of her?
