im on financial aid for college, and im on 14 credit hours 12 hours is fulltime. i decided to withdrawl from my biology class. just becuz i took my 3rd exam and knew that i did awful and it would ruin my chance of a good gpa. so i didnt plan on dropping until the last minute. so i went from fulltime to 3/4 time. i thought that i would only have to pay for the class that i dropped but they sent me a bill today for 1000$ i dropped two days ago(15th) and on monday im going to call the financial aid office. but whats going to happen? whats going to happen will i have to pay for all my classes or just for the one that i dropped?

Most of the time, if you drop from full time to part time status before you finish so much of the class (75% or so ) they will make you pay it back. MO did that to me because I dropped 1 week before I finished 75% of my classes. You will probably have to pay the difference and if you take that class again, fa probably won't pay for it..they will pay for the rest but not that one. GL

I highly suggest U not dropping the class because I believe at this point, dropping yo class already affects yo GPA (except your instructor grades yo dropped course as "NC-non credit", this will not affect yo GPA).
If the class grade is included to your Fall quarter (currently), yo GPA definitely will badly hurt and if your school has the policy students need to maintain 2.0 GPA or above to be able to continue receiving Financial Aid. Some schools dont' have this policy so no worry if you fall in this type of policy of certain schools.
How much did u have to pay totally for 14credits at first? If all are around $1000 you were billed by school, then this should be a mistake since U should still be able to be paid for the other 2 classes by FA (financial aid). In some case, you will need to pay for the dropped class, but for sure as I know, you are not responsible for paying those classes U still have registered and been up until now.

its hard to say, but you may have to pay back your financial aid. Especially, if there was stipulations on it.
