I could understand a freshman wanting to go out with a senior, but I do not think it's appropriate. The difference in age may be only 3 years, but that's a big difference at that age. And I think the senior should think twice about going out with a freshman, especially if sexual activity is anticipated. It's like an adult taking advantage of a kid. Ever hear of statutory rape?

When I was a freshman I would say there isn't anything wrong with it. Now that I'm 24 I do see a problem with the senior that wants to date the 13-14 year old freshman....

depends if your talking about college freshmans/seniors or high school freshman/seniors..
While your a teen, 4 years can seem a big span.. Also parents might wonder what the intention of the senior is, especially if the sr is a boy and the fr is a girl.. His ideas are a bit more mature than the 15yr old freshman girl.. becareful..

If a freshman would go out with a senior the freshman would feel superior compared to the freshman that aren’t going out with a senior. That one freshman would probably take advantage of the situation to bully other people. For the senior, he/she may feel awkward around his/her friends when his/her freshman girlfriend/boyfriend is around. Which would lead to lots of awkwardness between the couple and awkwardness between their friends hanging out with each other.
If they think they can cope with the awkwardness coming in from all sides. They should go right ahead. You never know when love comes out of hiding. You never know if you don’t take risks

I don't know, usually guy seniors will go out with younger girls because girls always go out with older guys and senior girls are usually dating guys outside of the school. This isn't always but usually. Also, the guy could give half a sxxt about age as long as the chick is hot, he'll want to show her off no matter how much younger she is than him.
