Everyone is tease one time or another in there life. But, school bullying is becoming a serious issue in our schools today. If you were teased, by "whom" and for what? To specify "whom", just say a classmate or teacher.

What makes a sandwich?

An argument with a friend about what makes a sandwich happened as follows. Martin was was sat in between Joel and Bob. A fourth friend remarked, "look, it's a Joel and Bob sandwich". I replied, "No, it's a Martin sandwich as a ham sandwich refers to what is between the bread and not what is surrounding the filling". My friend reckons that a human sandwich is different and refers to what surrounds the filling. I argued that as it refers to the type of food even a human sandwich should refer to the filling rather than the surround. What does everyone think?

i am 18, have had no education, have been severely neglected, I don't have a clue what to do.?

please help!!! I lost 2 people of whom I was very close to when I was 11. after that I couldn't cope anymore. i fell into depression.also..my mum was abusive towards me/neglected me.....but i was too scared to say anything.I started to refuese to go to school....as i could not cope with the grief...and also the neglect at home. this me refusing to go to school on-and-off carried on for the next 2 years before finally i quit going to school altogether as I could no longer cope at all. throughout all this no-one ever gave me any help for my school phobia. my parents didn'thave a clue how to get me a proper education(my mum had never been to college even and didn't even know what University is)i ended up having 3 measly hours of tuition at home per week, with not even a qualified teacher and all she did was make me learn out of a book. I ended up getting G grades in my GCSE exams (apart from a C in english) i got no help. am now 18. how can i fix my situation?? PLEASE HELP"!!

Which Major will be useful: BA Anthropology, BA Psychology, BS Biology Degree?

I'm a high school student and will graduate next year. I'm in a really stressful time right now. My parents and friends asked me what would i want to take in Uni...and i just felt blank. I love social sciences and biology, like travelling (especially in third world countries), i have a great interest in learning different cultures and studying animals, so i got these 2 different interests. However, my dad disagrees with me,,,he thinks if i take anthropology, i wouldn't be able to find work easily and it would be useless.
I prefer more to study majors in Humanities, Social sciences, and since 4 years ago, i have had an interest in psychology. But i don't really know how to put it all together...I was concerned with what kind of job in which field would i be in.
And i'm having a dillemma between BA and BS degrees, I'm afraid i will take the wrong one and will struggle to find any jobs/professions... My school counsellor doesn't do any help!
Any advice for me? Thanks.
