So I have about a 3.3 GPA and my SAT scores are as follows: 590 in math, 540 in reading, and 540 in writing. Im taking them again but I submitted an early application with those results. My essay is killer and I worked a lot on it with my counselor. Also I have a lot of work experience with a corporate team and my uncle attended BU. However, I dont really have any school involved activities except for being a member of earth club and a participant of relay for life. What do you think my chances of getting in are with the above info?

My second quarter of high school just started and so I got a new schedule. So I say ok, I go to the new classes, and I find I don’t like it at all. I have a new algebra teacher and new students! I am Polish-American, I speak English with no accent and you couldn’t tell other wise, I was born here and English is my first language, polish being my second. After a week in my algebra class I discover that there are around 25 students at least 16 speak polish and at least 1 has polish background. I go to my counselor and ask why I was put into this class and not another kid, he says it was "100% random" and anyone could have been switched, and get this the teacher is POLISH TOO, BORN IN POLAND! Now ill give you the stats of my school, there are 500 kids in my freshman class 5% are polish, that’s 25 kids, what are the chances of 16 out of 25 students being put into the same class with a POLISH TEACHER!! None of my friends got there schedules switched? So am I being discriminated against?HELP

I'm taking the GRE on November 20th, and I want to hopefully attend grad school by fall 2007. Am I taking the GRE's too late, and can I still retake them? I heard some schools tentatively accept you and wait for you to get a sufficient GRE score.

i'm sick of hearing this argument from "anti-homeschooling" people that home schooled kids don't get a taste of the real world and they are socially retarded, and don't know how to act around a crowd, this is a stupid comment, do you think we lock our kids up in a cave or something, mine spend a max of 4 broken up hours per day on study and the rest they have social commitments. Its blatantly obvious your point about socialization is ridiculous so can anyone bring themselves to be honest once and for all and tell the real reason for not agreeing with homeschooling
