That would be Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft. Believe it or not he dropped out of high school in order to found a company (Microsoft) with a friend. His first break was the introduction of the Windows OS (operating system). Later, Windows 95 was introduced and earned him millions. Before this, DOS was the standard operating system and Windows was a huge step up, making it quite popular. Although there was competition, Microsoft's softward ultimately gained more popularity from the public.
