Hi, im filling in this really important application form which is to be a part of the "Manchester Access Programme". Its a scheme that will get me an unconditional offer into Manchester University if i join the programme i will be having to do like an academic assignement which is meant 2 help me with a.problem based learning. b. enquiry based learning c. personal development d. uni life and stuff like that.
They ask in the application form:
We would like to know a little about why you want to take part in the Manchester Access Programme.
Q.1 Why should you be on the Manchester Access Programme? (150 words max)
Q.2 What steps would you take to ensure that you successfully complete the Manchester Access Programme? (150 words max)
What will I get from attending the activities? What skills will the programme help me to develop? How will the programme be able to help me with the choices I need to make about uni and uni courses? What are my reasons for wanting to go to uni? PLZ HELP!

Well...I am 20 yrs old..and I went to college for two years...however...I have nothing to show for it...the reason...because I first started in the Law Clerk program...then went to the Business Magn..program...however...I faild the second program..and now I am taking a year off..to decide what I want to go back into...the thing is...I have no clue...what I want to go to school for...So, with this year off...I got a job...and told my parents that next year I am going back...

I have a husband and two kids, ages 2 and 4. I have wanted to do my MSW for a long time but it would involve relocating everyone to another province for two years. My husband has always said he would support me, but now that I'm serious about it, he says he won't go because he is happy where we are. I don't know if I should just accept this or try to persuade him to relocate so I can go back to school. I would rather not do a degree my correspondence, but it might be the only way. Any advice?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows any good programs for summer study abroad programs. It seems like everyone's pushing the whole spend a full semester away, but I'm a biochem major and I don't wanna be learning science in another language or anything, and I don't want this to mess with my 4-year plan.

I have a 14 year old autistic son who is having major problems in school with children picking on him so I have decided to home school him. I need to know where to get the info for home schooling in Wisconsin. I need this ASAP. My son had a major melt down at school yesterday and he had to be taken away by the police for the safety of the other children. This is very serious! Im 22 and have been out of college for over 1 year. My parents provide no financial assistance; yet the government and school won't provide me with aid because of my parents income. The estimated family contribution is too high. I work monday-friday 9-6 and cant make ends meet as is. I have terrible credit and no shot at school loans or grants. I have wanted to finish school and i am in my junior year. Because i was working 3 jobs to pay for school my grades dropped tremendously and i was put on academic probation. I have the determination and drive to make something of myself, just cant find a way to afford living and going to school. I am nobody special- i have no family involved in organizations who provide scholarships & my grades arent good enough to be awarded. I was recently accepted to the university i wanted to attend & am so excited but i dont know how i will afford it. Can anybody give me any advice? I appreciate any help on my problem. Just cant find a way to succeeding:(

i have looked up the compulosry attentance laws in caliornia and it states that children must attend school from ages 6-18 (theres homeschool etc). then why does it seem people drop out at 16 and most people say you can at 16...wouldn't your parents be investigated for you not going to school until you are 18?
also how do you drop out, do you just stop going or is their paper work involved?
