A B. Well, that may not help you much. An 88 lies in the scale of 80-89, which is the equivalent of a B.

88 is a B on any straight-scale I've ever seen. The lowest A is usually a 90 (or possibly higher).

If you got an 88% on an exam, it means you're just as smart to get an A. I see it as a close borderline, but I still have to agree its a B+.

Most schools with a 4.0 grading system consider this a B+, however, you need to check with your schools policy or the class syllabus. A's are almost always 90%+
