i had to choose a business that has a problem and needs a system to help them organise stuff, and now it comes to solving the problem, and i have to give a system specification for the solution. it needs to include hardware software and people. can anyone briefly tell me what this means and what i need to do? please help... ill pick a best answer :)

A system specification is simply a blueprint for a solution, outlining what is needed to meet the expectations. In other words, you don't need to say exactly WHAT you need, but rather what specifications the things you need will meet.

For example, saying "I need 5 computers with Pentium 4 processors" wouldn't be a system specification, but saying "I need enough computers to calculate the total loss..." would be.
