According to USnews, they have two different kind of university rank, if only concern about master degree, National third tier schools v.s Universities-Master's top schools, which is better?

Despite the fact that we all spend so much of our lives consuming media, and the further fact that media provision, whether it is the internet, TV, radio, or the press, is changing and developing so rapidly, there seem to be so many people out there who think (for some reason) that a Media degree is not a 'real' degree!

Of course it is not a 'traditional' degree- with a longer view nothing other than theology is! But, for some reason, people with degrees in engineering or architecture or veterinary science, or even literature, think that their degree is- somehow- more 'real'.

The importance, the reality, and the complexity of the subject matter is surely beyond question? And, despite what some people seem to think, there are lots of jobs in it!

I can only conclude it is a mixture of envy and ignorance that leads to the plethora of negative remarks about media degrees! Isn't that sad?

I see a lot of answers to peoples questions about using spel checking in here. The problem is that it only works on the question part. It doesn't work on the add details portion so pleas be light on people! Sometimes people are excited to post and just want answers.

my mother is paralyzed and my father says he doenst want me going to a far away college such as new york, but i told him thats one of my top choices. so should i choose a college closer to home just so they can visit me more, or far away so i can experience more things...i mean i have no problem with them visiting, but just the fact that i might regret not taking a chance and leaping into a big city like new york city.

Ill be finishing college soon. My kids will start elementary school pretty soon. Do you homeschool? If you do do you like it? Do you dislike it? How long have you been homeschooling? And how much longer are you going to homeschool?
