to get largest number means you need the closest to 200 possible to double it.
so you'd need the smallest 2 digit number, i.e 10 unless you are counting 00,01,02 etc!
200-10 = 190
190*2 = 380
so 380 is the largest number you can get.
(unless you can use 00 which would be 400!)
If you can use negative numbers this makes it much better!
200 minus -99 = 200 + 99!!!
therefore 200 minus -99 = 299
299 doubled = 598!
ya me!

i'll try 99. Minus 200 = -101. doubling that I get -202.
using 10. Minus 200 = -190. doubling that I get -380.
if I use -99. Minus 200 = 101. doubling that I get 202.
if I use -10. Minus 200 = 190. doubling that I get 380.
I think this is right...

12-200=187x2=376 97-200=103x2=

choose 99, subtract 200 = -101, which doubled is -202
(anything else is going to be more negative, and therefore a smaller number)

If the two-digit number is positive:200 - 99 (the largest two-digit number) equals 101. Double that and you get 202.
If the two-digit number is negative: 200 - (-99) equals 299; double that and you get 598.
