I have always had trouble getting myself to sit down and study. I do study but if I could only get myself to sit down and study more. I know there are drugs such as Adderall but I don't want drugs to help me concentrate. I want something natural.

teacher not following iep, fighting with assistant in front of class, not assisting with homework problems telling parents homework is never done(even if parents sign homework and assist) child no longer enjoys school and teacher says things like child is a liar. requested a tranfer but no luck. any suggestions for next step.

Anyway, I'm a college student taking an AutoCad class. Just introductory stuff and none of it real taxing on my brain. However, the professor just keeps handing out craploads of homework when I don't have the time to get it all done. I'm rather far behind in turning in homework and I really don't know what kind of grade I've got in there at the moment...probably not very good.

I talked to a friend of mine who took the same class. He said he knows AutoCad and still failed the class becuase the prof just kept handing out homework. I know most of the people in the class are keeping up (I think), but then again several of them are stupid freshmen who mommy and daddy pays for everything and have the time to do their work and get it in on time with the time to spare to get wasted.

So, should I just try to turn in whatever homework I can and see what happens? Or do I drop the class and take it next semester with my friend who is taking it (again) also. If I drop it, it won't hurt my GPA (wich is a good thing since my scholarships rely on a high GPA).

On the other hand, the semester is halfway through....but just because of this one class I'm behind in all my other classes too. I figured if I drop it I lose the money (but my scholarships paid for it anyway) but I can keep my grades up in my other classes. And I'd have enough time to work, get all my homework done, and get enough sleep to make it to my other classes on time.

So....what do y'all think? Drop or not?

I go to school full-time, and work part-time (26 hours in 3 days).

It's starting to get to me, I'm always tired, always discouraged. Losing interest in my classes because I'm more worried about making my financial ends meet - car payments, insurance, phone, etc.
No-one is helping me what so ever. No one in my family cares about me going to college, so they won't help me financial wise. Not even a dollar. All of my student loans are in my name, along with anything else I own. I'm almost reaching my breaking point - I don't know what I should do. I like where I'm working, but I know education will help me in my life alot. I know it will get me a better job eventually and give me stability.
What's really bothering me, is that I NEED stability. I can't handle worrying about my bills, and school at the same time. It's too much for just me alone, but I have no one to help me.
Any ideas?
I don't know which way I should chose.

I'm a high school student, and I'm torn between taking more honors/ap classes or doing more extracurricular activies i.e volunteering and sports.

I'm currently in basketball, and I want to know if I should continue with that, risking a worse GPA, or taking easier classes that won't raise up GPA up.

Is it more important to have a great GPA with little to no extracurricular activity, or to have a good GPA with a lot of extracurricular activies? The activites I'm thinking of are clubs, volunteering, and basketball.
