What are the benefits of student-led parent conferences?
I'm a teacher and I'm just wondering. I've heard about student-led conferences using powerpoint slides but I'm not really sure how to that with kindergartners. Did it work for any of you?

My European History textbook talks about Carolingians and Capetians. It starts with Charlemagne, emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. But later, while still talking about Charlemagne's successors, it mentions that they are the rulers of France.

I feel like I am missing a vital something distinguishing between the Holy Roman Empire and France. Please tell me where this change was made!

Also, were there two Holy Roman Empires? A friend told me that there was Otto's HRE and there was Charlemagne's HRE. Please help!

Gradually, close acquaintances were either strengthened or newly formed. Within their individual circles, pupils knew they had confidants which they could lean on, comrades which they could share their fears, dreams, and hopes with. However, although most students never realized it, there was always a small, but powerful junction in the school; that junction was the pride in the stronghold the school had become.
