Bourgeois.

First, you realize you weren't even close in your suggested spelling....getting only 3 letters correct?

Also bourgeois refers primarily to the pejorative middle class; which still goes on today.

If you are concerned with historical reference then you want to use the spelling as it originally related to the French Revolution...bourgeoisie. A minor difference in spelling but since you are under the section of Words & Wordplay it may make a difference in your word selection.

Bushwhack - to clear a path through thick vegetation; ambush: wait in hiding to attack.

Check your dictionary, and you'll find that "bushwa" is a slang term meaning rubbishy nonsense, baloney, bull, b.s.
