I'm trying to expand my vocabulary, and I used to look up every word I did not understand, but this was so time consuming, and eventually I would forget the word's meaning. So lately I have been writing 5 words a day and thinking about it throughout the day. Is this a better way, or are there better ways?

Can somebaody explain the whole process? And is it better to just stay and get more classes, even if you have all the required credits? -What do colleges want? Also, where do i go to decide what college I want to go to? How did you choose? Did you just say "Oh, I like their football team, i'll go there!"

I am planning on going to school to become a teacher, but was wondering the above. Also am wondering if that salary gets divided by 52 weeks or by the weeks the school year is, approximately 42. If so, then for those few weeks does one make a little more a week to make up for the summer that one doesnt' work. Thanks.

Are we all dumbing down? Does anybody else hate this bone-idle text-speak? Is life really so short we can't be bothered to spell 'what' instead of 'wat'?

If I see one more algebra question posted here that someone who was paying attention in class could answer I think I'll lose my mind. I've already seen 4 algebra questions and 2 biology questions...they aren't asking for help, they're looking for answers so they don't have to do it...

My 11 year old daughter wrote a poem and put it on my bed, here it is
"The Table"
I sit with my friends during lunch but 5 get up and leave the bunch
They sit at a table in a diffrent grade, no one notices, they all look the same
we sit and enjoy lunch and time goes bye, slowly some more go and no left are only 9
Slowly they leave, and 2 are left,Me and my best friend Beth
Then it happens, she leaves me now, now its the table, me and my head hanging down
I knew it would happen I knew all along, but down in my heart, I hoped my life wouldent sing this song
I look at my friends and think of the past, the mud baking days that seemed they would forever last.
Now they are gone and so are my friends, So I wait here till my endless lunch, finnally, comes to an end

I'm taking Nonprofit accounting online. I've been having problems between bridging the gap of understanding and applying the information in the book. The book gives real general descriptions of different funds with no examples. Then for the homework it gives really descritptive questions in which you are to apply the real broad information to and tell which fund it is. I've been to the free accounting tutoring service, and they pretty much told me they have no experience in Nonprofit accounting and gave me the answer book to copy the answers which have no explanation. I'm to the point where I don't feel like I'm learning what I should be and I don't have any other ideas to help me better understand these definitions of funds, should I drop? Sorry if I sound crazy but I'm about at the point where I'm pulling my hair out. lol
