If I see one more algebra question posted here that someone who was paying attention in class could answer I think I'll lose my mind. I've already seen 4 algebra questions and 2 biology questions...they aren't asking for help, they're looking for answers so they don't have to do it...

Yes!! I hate this! It would be completely different if they were asking for help, but all they want is the solution. I saw one yesterday that was a guy that wanted a couple of quotes and an overview on two separate books. It's upsetting because I worked my rear off to get good grades through high school, and these kids just want to fly through on free answers!!

It drives me crazy. I don't mind pointing someone in the direction they need to do the work themselves, but some of these kids seem to be sitting at the computer waiting for others to do all the work. I hope some people "feed" them the wrong information for those math problems. Don't they have to show how they arrived at the answers? That was always a big part of the work when I was in school.

Someone asked a question about Canada that could easily be discovered by downloading a map instead of logging onto Yahoo Answers. It seems like more work to skip the work than to just do the work to me. Use your brains, people!

Me to sick of ok hey I got this question ten points if you answer this and that. I don't do it for them, because one why should I? I did my own studying when I was at school. There is a huge different between advice, and doing it for them. One guy on this put a essay and said wanted ten essay and he pick the best one for school. But the funny bit is any teacher would know that the didn't do it, for a start they can't even spell some of the words. And like I said before on this are we really doing them any favors by answering these questions?

I agree with you totally! Maybe I could understand if it was a question on something much harder that they actually needed help on but algebra?! That's the base foundation of math! If they can't do that, they have no hope!

mathematicians have a "thing" of proving formulas and making simple stuff complicated to look cool. so I remember my first algebra teacher...he just sucked

I wouldn't blame some kids.but yeah...getting help or looking for another teacher is way better than posting homework on yahoo answers.

Let's all give them the wrong answers. They will fail in school and never come back to this site again.
