Can somebaody explain the whole process? And is it better to just stay and get more classes, even if you have all the required credits? -What do colleges want? Also, where do i go to decide what college I want to go to? How did you choose? Did you just say "Oh, I like their football team, i'll go there!"

Talk to your school guidance counselor. I had enough credits to graduate early but my school would not let me do so because I didn't have Senior gym class. Also since I was under age 16, they would have had to pay for the first year of college.

So my senior year, I took only the minimum number of classes and worked in the school library.

Your school conselor can help you decide on a college based on what you want as a career and what your family can afford to send you to. I went to University of Wisconsin--Oshkosh because I wanted to become a teacher and my parents would not permit me to go to Madison. (That was during the Vietnam War and their were protests there. Two students were killed in a bombing.)

If you are an athlete, your coach may suggest you check certain colleges because of their athletic program.

At my school, to graduate early you need the same number of credits as a normal student, but you get them in only the core subjects and skip all the electives. My school district requires 52 credits to graduate; I had 84 when I left school. If I had done fewer electives (like Art History and Japanese), and taken more Grade 12-level courses when I was still in the eleventh grade, I could have graduated earlier. I suggest sticking around and graduating with your friends- it will be a more meaningful experience. It is also rough when you graduate and suddenly you're an adult- it's easier if your friends are going through the same things (college selection, moving out, etc) as you.

At my school graduating early doesn't mean you get to skip either 11th or 12th grade it just means that you finish school and get your diploma in the winter of your senior year because you have enough credits and don't care to finish out the year with your class... but im sure its different at every school so i'd talk to your guidance counselor.

that is continuously plausible to graduate early or pass a year, yet you need to communicate over with your counseler for more effective information. It varies via state as well. you nevertheless ought to have each and every of the credit required via the different scholars yet in case you attempt nicely sufficient they are going to each and every so often allow you pass a low element math direction, for instance. There are continuously thoughts. i'm actually a junior and that i'm completeing my first year of faculty together in a particular application, so perchance seem into some thing like that? you actually ought to be certain what your college promises. and evidently, you need to be able to attempt extreme sufficient to be able to pass some thing. desire this helps!
